the community
One of the best things on YouTube is to build your own community. I absolutely love to chat with my followers and I spend a lot of time reading and answering comments. This is also the most stressful thing for many content creators which keeps you stuck in your cellphone all the time. I answer to all my Instagram direct messages, I like all comments in Instagram and YouTube and answer to those comments I find interesting. It's time consuming!
But the most stressful of all is the events where you see your followers! They will remember meeting you very detailed! When larger content creators do meet & greet events, queues so long that some followers will be unable to meet their idol and will upset their minds. In Finland, such meet & greet events are often attended by very young people who easily frustrate their minds, which also angers their parents when their angels didn't get what they wanted.
I personally don't like meet & greet events that are too big, but I feel that I can make everyone happy that they came to visit me even in the smallest amount of time. I've practiced it a lot! But many content creators get tired of this, or don't feel comfortable in such situations. This leads to misunderstandings between they and theirs followers. However, I can be proud of myself for this. I have received messages from parents after major events, how I could handle the situation really well and how truly grateful I was for all who came to see me. It makes me feel really good and successful!
In my opinion he best thing the community can do is help like-minded people to meet each other and make new friends! I have also done my own meetings, where the idea was really to get them to make friends! And I succeeded! Because after the meeting they went out for coffee together as a big group of friends. Many have come to say thanks to me afterwards that they found their best friends that day. That's what makes me so happy!
Parent posted a thank you message to me afterwards.
